"On the surface, war is nothing but a sport. A weapon is nothing but a tool to prove ones skill. Some see war as a game, and their tools as toys. It is a strange contrast to the ideals of those that they oppressed a century ago. Almost oblivious to what war meant so long ago.
Although, that interpretation of war is also a good source of hope for us. After a century, many generations have passed through governments, news organizations, the media, which may have shifted the Inklings ideas of us.
I think I can safely hope that both Inklings and Octolings have forgotten their competitive ways, and that the Inklings will see no danger in allowing the Octolings to return, and that the Octolings will see nothing but the truth in the Inklings words.
To quote a particularly famous for their time human poet:
*When I find myself in times of trouble
Mother Mary calls to me
Singing words of wisdom
Let it be*
It doesn't really have much to do with my point, but I like quotes." - My favorite Octoling, in one of her *particularly* thoughtful passages
Alright, now about me.
I'm Maddox, AKA LoneSome.MP3. I've been playing Splatoon since 4/14/2023, after my best friend at the time said he owned it, and on a whim, I went out and got it.
And now here we are :)
Things I particularly enjoy about Splatoon, from most enjoyed to least:
The music
The story (Including EVERYTHING, squid history, in game story, BIOLOGY???)
Ranked battle
Turf War
Tableturf (JOIN TBS NOW)
Story mode (I have both DLCs)
Salmon Run
Things I do Splatoon related outside of the game:
Amiibo Collecting (17/26)
A HUGE fanfic I'm planning, featuring the character that wrote the intro to this bio...
Reading the manga (Not SKCS, I'm only kinda a psychopath)
Making music, covers, whatever.
My DMs are always open if you ever wanna talk.
See you on the battlefield ✌️
(Goddamn that was so cringe...)
