**ScrimFest I is happening on August 4th, 2:00 ET!** **Check-In - 1 hour before** Introducing Squid List Scrimfest! An event in which teams get together to Scrimm, meet, and play Splatoon together! Scrimfest is a great new way to practice splatooning with multiple other teams, as well as a great time to try out new strategies, teammates, and other shenanigans. Facts about Scrimfest - Is there a bracket? Unlike most other tournaments, Scrimfest does not have a bracket system, teams get ranked on a ‘leaderboard’ in which the team that has the most points (wins against teams that have more wins are worth more points). If a tie happens, the two teams will play a tiebreaker set. - Why is there no bracket? The purpose of this tournament is less to find out who the best is, and is more about networking, practice and finding new teams to compete and scrim against at a later date and a bracket would make this event seem more competitive than it actually is. - What will each round look like? Each round will consist of games between the competing teams. The more games you win, the more points you will get, raising your teams position on the leaderboard (in swiss bracket only). - Skill Cap - If you are FTIU, LSL, or Low Ink banned or your team is above div 5, you may not compete.
