NA League 2026 Event #10 (Regular Season Week 8)
“Now or Never” is playing for four teams who all have a chance at taking the single spot at the Playoffs that is within reach
On Saturday, June 6th, the eighth week of the Splatoon 3 North American League 2026 wrapped up the Regular Season, finally determining who would make it to the Playoffs in a few weeks. The teams who made the cut were chosen based on the eight highest Season Standings; Season Standings were made up of a team’s four best weekly rankings during the Regular Season.
The teams competing this week were:
- Cream Soda
- Duck Motif
- Swarm
- SCUBA
- SIZA
- The Shiggy Wiggy
- 37 handsome boys
- Content Cat
Cream Soda, Duck Motif, and Content Cat were already confidently secured for the Playoffs, but for SCUBA, SIZA, Swarm, and 37 handsome boys, this event was make-it-or-break-it for qualifying. Hypernova, sitting in the eighth position in the Playoffs roster at 280 points, had the only score that the latter four teams could beat.
For the last time in the Regular Season, Nine, Falco, and Popgun hosted the event, with Piko operating the spectator camera.
How did this event turn out?
Winner’s Quarterfinals: SCUBA vs. SIZA (3–1)
Event #10 kicked off with a set between two teams vying for the eighth spot on the Playoffs’ roster. SCUBA needed to get at least 4th place in this event to get enough points to surpass Hypernova. SIZA needed the run of a lifetime to get first place and earn enough points to place at the Playoffs.
SCUBA started the set on fire, picking up close wins at Scorch Gorge Rainmaker (90–72) and MakoMart Splat Zones (93–92). SIZA put a halt on SCUBA’s sweep by taking a victory at Inkblot Art Academy Tower Control, 81–62. The final game went to SCUBA, who won in a low-scoring Clam Blitz game at Museum d’Alfonsino, 39–23.
Winner’s Semifinals: 37 handsome boys vs. Swarm (3–0)
Both 37 handsome boys and Swarm were in the running for the final spot of Playoffs, and like SIZA, needed to take first place at this event to get the chance, which wasn’t guaranteed yet at this point in the tournament.
Swarm made heads turn with their weapon choice at Robo ROM-en Splat Zones—double Hero Shot Replica, Snipewriter 5H, and Custom Explosher. It wasn’t quite what they needed; despite the constant Trizookas, they lost 61–96. 37 handsome boys swept through the next two games, winning MakoMart Clam Blitz 85–23 and Hagglefish Turf War 67.7%–26.4%, advancing to Winner’s Finals after the 3–0 set.
Winner’s Finals: Cream Soda vs. 37 handsome boys (3–0)
For the first time in the 2026 NA League, 37 handsome boys had made it as far as the Winner’s Finals. Whether they won or lost here, they would continue to a new personal best. Neither Cream Soda nor 37 handsome boys had lost a single game yet in the top cut, raising the stakes!
Tower Control at Museum d’Alfonsino had a rough opening for Cream Soda, being down three players early, giving 37 handsome boys a head start. A minute and a half into the game, Cream Soda, fully warmed up, built up enough steam to drive through all three checkpoints with ease. Their push ended at 10, but even with a wipeout delaying the run, they came back to knock out with over a minute to spare.
At Scorch Gorge Rainmaker, 37 handsome boys were down players early, but they regrouped to deny Cream Soda the checkpoint until halfway in the game. With some skilled movement, Cream Soda weaved around a Kraken Royale to get the Rainmaker to 37, and won the game 63–0.
Cream Soda scored within the first minute at MakoMart Clam Blitz thanks to Gos drawing attention away from the basket. Cream Soda scored three times before 37 handsome boys finally got some points. After 37 handsome boys’ basket closed, no one else scored. Cream Soda won 85–32 after wiping out 37 handsome boys in overtime.

Loser’s Semifinals: SIZA vs. SCUBA (3–0)
SIZA and SCUBA were set to go head-to-head once again. The winner would face 37 handsome boys for the first time, for the ultimate challenge of taking on Cream Soda. SIZA needed to win the next two sets if they wanted a chance to make it to Playoffs.
The SIZA we saw in this set was vastly different than the one from Winner’s Quarterfinals. During Inkblot Art Academy Splat Zones (which was on stream for the first time this season), SIZA went 100-to-0 for the knockout win. They also knocked SCUBA out at MakoMart Tower Control, then won in overtime, 50–49, at Museum d’Alfonsino Clam Blitz.
Although SCUBA lost the set, they still secured enough points to surpass Hypernova’s season standing, tentatively taking the eighth spot at the Playoffs. If either SIZA or 37 handsome boys took first place during this event, they would tie with SCUBA, requiring a tiebreaker to determine who went to the Playoffs.
Loser’s Finals: 37 handsome boys vs. SIZA (3–2)
Both SIZA and 37 handsome boys needed a win here to take on Cream Soda for a shot at the Playoffs. The close game five set between these two would be the first time since Winner’s Quarterfinals that any set wouldn’t end after three games.
Starting at Museum d’Alfonsino for Tower Control, 37 handsome boys cleared their first checkpoint in 40 seconds. The main focus of the midpoint was on splatting rather than pushing the tower. In the last 30 seconds, 37 handsome boys being wiped out let SIZA take the lead, knocking out just before the clock ran out.
Splat Zones at Robo ROM-en was next. SIZA took the zone first; by the end of the first minute, they were locking their opponent out. 37 handsome boys broke out, stopping SIZA at 12. SIZA threw Triple Inkstrikes, a Trizooka, and a Killer Wail 5.1 at 37 handsome boys and the zone, but were out-painted and wiped out. 37 handsome boys took the lead and the knockout win.

SIZA brought out an unconventional comp for Turf War at Hagglefish Market. It gave them no edge over their opponent; for half of the game, SIZA was under the Damage! sign. In the last 30 seconds they finally hit their stride, taking three players from 37 handsome boys. With 7 seconds remaining, still in Danger!, they wiped out 37 handsome boys and painted their hearts out, just barely winning 46.6%–45.9%.
Rainmaker at Scorch Gorge saw both teams down two players in the first 20 seconds. SIZA cleared their checkpoint, then got wiped out, leading to 37 handsome boys getting their checkpoint, all in the first minute. SIZA got the Rainmaker to 33, feeling safe, until a minute later, when 37 handsome boys got it to 5. A Trizooka took out SIZA’s Rainmaker carrier in overtime; 37 handsome boys tied the set after the 95–67 win.
The set would end with Undertow Spillway Clam Blitz. First, 37 handsome boys scored to 77. SIZA scored next, first taking the lead, then going down three players; a jump in got another Power Clam in before the team was wiped out, ending their push at 25. 37 handsome boys scored again, but couldn’t pass SIZA. In overtime, with SIZA down players, 37 handsome boys took the lead, 78–75, moving to the next round!
Grand Finals: Cream Soda vs. 37 handsome boys (3–0)
37 handsome boys had one more challenge to overcome before they had a chance at the Playoffs. It wasn’t just a Winner’s Finals rematch, but the chance to give Cream Soda their first loss in the Top 8 stream. Cream Soda, who had won weeks 4 and 7 already, meanwhile, was looking to add a third event to their decorated record.
…However, that momentous set would not come to pass. After nearly 25 minutes of waiting for the set to begin, the commentators informed the viewers that 37 handsome boys had not checked in for the Grand Finals, granting Cream Soda the automatic win.
Following the announcement, the newly-updated Playoff Picture was put on screen, giving everyone clear answers about who would be participating in the Playoffs in two weeks, on June 20th and 21st:
Without 37 handsome boys attempting to contest Cream Soda, they took 2nd place in Event #10, leaving them to tie with Hypernova at 9th place, just 5 points behind the new eighth position, SCUBA. Spots 1–7 were pretty firm by the start of the Top 8 stream.
The Playoffs, which takes place on Saturday, June 20th and Sunday, June 21st, will start at 12 PM PT / 3 PM ET, the same time that the Ladder Rounds began. With a mix of teams both new and old, and an update that majorly shook up the game, it’s about time to see how the highest level of competitive play has been redefined in the six months since the ending of the last Splatoon 3 North American League!
