I'm a college student who plays Splatoon for fun. I played S1, skipped S2, and now play S3, so I'm a little racist towards stupid octolings (they're invading our cities, taking our jobs, and readying a 8 tentacled revolution with their sleeper agents. Just wait, one day you too will become enlightened to the dangers of allowing them to leech our resources). I found out that I'm kinda good, but I still play with fun as the top priority. I see being competitive as a way to play with others who enjoy the game (and relish in the competition).
