An open letter to the Splatoon community:
I had always thought that the community was a place that people could be welcomed regardless of who you are and your real life.
And yet, while I provided no threat to anyone or to the community itself, I was ousted and banished.
People come online to escape the real world, to be able to have fun with those that also enjoy the game but when these boundaries are crossed for no real reason, questions must be asked on where the line should be drawn.
Not one person ever asked for my side of the story and while there are those in the community that were willing to give people a second chance, those in power were ready to abuse it.
It shows that the community is not accepting to everyone.
