Great Subjects Info Great Subjects is a biweekly mid-high level tournament that aims to give mid-high level competitive players more results as they progress to top level. Rules Private Battles You are strictly prohibited to use the alias feature. You are expected to use your in game name. Failure to follow this will result in a forfeit in the match and can lead to a forfeit of the entire tournament. You are only to end the match if you chose the wrong map or mode or a disconnection has occurred during the match. If a disconnection has occurred, please follow the disconnection rules. Disconnections Every participant is expected to have a strong internet connection. If such an event that someone disconnects during a match, the team of the disconnected person must end the match if the match meets these requirements: - No one team has gotten below 50 remaining - The timer does not reach the 4 minute threshold If such an event occurs and the match does not meet the above requirements, you must play out the match. Each team is allowed to end the match from a disconnect for up to one time for each set. Failure to follow these procedures may result in a forfeit of the match, the set, or the tournament. Sportsmanship Please do not do the following: - Curse out the other team; - Use of slurs at all; - Squidbagging in game; - Cheating during the tournament; - Using NSFW in game names; - Being rude to any TO or Staff; or - Intentionally delaying a game. Doing any of those will result in a forfeit from the match, a set, or the entire tournament or will result you in a ban from the tourney or the server as a whole. Splattercolor Screen Splattercolor Screen is strictly prohibited from the tourney. Please do not use it. If it was accidently used, please end the match immediately and change it. Exceptions If at all you have been banned from this tournament by mistake, please make an exception request in #gs-exception-requests. This is not used if you think you are banned. It is only for people who are explicitly banned. Format If less than 16 teams sign up, then everyone will be put into a double elimination bracket. If there is 16 or more, then it will be round robin groups into double elimination brackets. Eligibility You are considered ineligible from the tourney if you are not any of these: - LUTI Division 4 - Max Researched Ineligible and Adequately Researched Banned - Results case by case basis.
