Description

NewSquidbeakSplatoon
A new tournament is in town, and it’s Sober Saturday! Sober Saturday is a weekly tournament where there is no drinking at all, meaning no Tacticooler! This tournament plans to lessen Tacticooler reliance by eliminating it entirely! Invite friends, teams, and anyone to participate! The map and mode pool is attached to this, so you can take a look to see what's available. The rules for the tournament are below. Ban List ●Dapple Dualies ●Dynamo Roller ●H-3 Nozzlenose ●Heavy Edit Splatling ●N-ZAP '85 ●Snipewriter 5H ●Tri-Slosher Nouveau These weapons are Tacticooler weapons and are not permitted to be used. Rules on Tacticooler Any weapon with Tacticooler as its special weapon is prohibited. Use of any Tacticooler weapon will result in a warning, as well as the following happening: ●The match will be stopped immediately. This will happen for any of the three offenses. For the first and second offenses, a rematch will have to be scheduled for immediately afterward. ●For the first time offense, gear and weapons must be kept the same, but whoever used a Tacticooler weapon will have to switch to the weapon’s non-Tacticooler variant. This is the only allowed gear change. This is the first time offense. ●The second time offense will allow the other team to swap their weapons as punishment to the violating team. The violating team will have to keep all of their gear and weapons the same with the exception of the Tacticooler weapon(s), they will still be swapped for their non-Tacticooler variant. ●Third offense will result in disqualification of the violating team and said team being removed from the tournament immediately. If a team is found using a Tacticooler weapon, please notify the tournament director. Reaching a third offense multiple times across multiple tournaments will eventually result in a ban from any future Sober Saturday tournaments. Streaming Streaming the tournament is allowed, and in fact, it’s encouraged! I would love to see how your tournament went, feel free to send me the link! Please refrain from using profane language while on stream. A language sensor is allowed, but if I can hear the words, I do not approve of the stream. Rules for the team One person from the team (preferably the Captain) must be on the Discord server to be able to verbally check in. It doesn’t matter how many people join, but at least one needs to. (the full team can join to make things easier) The server has multiple four person voice chats available to be used at your will. If you wish to have a group chat with a greater limit, let me know and one will be made for you. LFG Accessibility If you don’t have a full team, the attached Discord server has a channel where you can find other people looking for a team to join. Make yourself at home there! That’s all we have in terms of rules. Invite as many people as you can, the more the merrier! This tournament plans to be weekly, so stay tuned for when we’re next available. Lastly, don’t forget to be sober!
