Baja's Blast rules:

TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

  • 4v4s
  • Double Elimination
  • Splat Zones only
  • Underground bracket (must check in to play)

Timing / Disconnects:

  • Players have 10 minutes from the first message sent in chat to start each set

  • If a team is late after 10 minutes, inform helpdesk and take game 1

  • After the 10 minutes, further lateness will result in a loss after every 5 minutes. Inform helpdesk again if your opponent is still not showing up

  • If a player has disconnected, the team with the DC has up until the in-game timer of 2:30 or if the objective has not passed 50 to restart

  • All gear and weapons must stay the same, failure to comply will result in game loss if reported to helpdesk with proof

  • Each team has one reset per set. In the event of a DC, games must be played out if there are no more reset chances

  • If someone disconnects on the weapon selection screen, you must immediately restart the game

  • In the event that the host disconnects, the match may be restarted if the objective has not pushed past 30. If the objective has passed 30, the opposing team takes the game and must be the new host. If the same person disconnects the match must be played out regardless of game status

  • Ending the private battle should only occur if a player disconnects (follow the rules above) or the map is wrong

  • Ending private battles without any valid reason may result in losing a game. Continuing to do so may result in a set loss or disqualification

Splattercolor Screen:

  • You may opt in or out of the usage of screen when signing up for this tournament
  • Using screen when the special has been opted out may result in a loss. The match must be restarted within a minute regardless of objective status
  • If you opted IN for Splattercolor Screen accidentally, you must tell every opponent you face before the set starts that you do not want screen played. This is to prevent counterpicking with weapons and specials.

Splashtags / Alias Feature:

  • All splashtags in game must match on your sendou profile
  • Aliases can be used. If the opponent asks, please identify said player(s) using an alias. If you have issues please bring it to helpdesk ASAP
