Format
- Double elimination: Teams need to lose twice to be eliminated from the tournament. We also use the bracket reset.
- Sets vary in length (i.e. best of three, best of five). These can be found in the round description for a set on Sendou.ink if you are unsure.
- Sets may have Stage Bans enforced. This will be stated in the round description in rounds that apply.
Registration
- Teams must register at the latest, thirty (30) minutes prior to the tournament start time.
- Teams must check-in within sixty (60) minutes prior to the tournament start time. Failure to check-in will result in disqualification.
- Teams must have a minimum of four (4) players and a maximum of six (6) players.
- Team, player, and Discord names must be respectful, and not include any vulgarities, slurs or other terms that can be deemed offensive, or used for promotional purposes, such as advertising, or campaigning.
Substitutions
- A substitute player that are already registered on Sendou.ink under a team’s roster are allowed to substitute at any time, provided that they don’t take too long.
- Substitutions from outside of the registered roster are allowed, given that you have notified TOs and received approval prior to them playing.
Set Procedures
- The higher seeded team is responsible for hosting the Private Battle lobby if neither team can come to consensus.
- Teams must report scores on Sendou.ink. Any player may do this.
Time Limits
- The team that will host the Private Battle lobby must do so within five (5) minutes of the match beginning. Failure to do so will result in a one (1) game penalty, and an additional one (1) game penalty for every two (2) minutes that pass without the Private Battle being created.
- Teams must have exactly four (4) players in the Private Battle lobby within five (5) minutes of creating the lobby. If they are not at exactly four (4) players after this time, they will receive a one (1) game penalty, and receive an additional penalty of one (1) game for every two (2) minutes that pass in which the offending team has not met this requirement.
- The same rule applies to the team who agrees to host the Private Battle Lobby; failure to host it within this time results in the same penalties mentioned above.
- A best of three (3) set is allotted twenty-five (25) minutes.
- A best of five (5) set is allotted fourty (40) minutes.
- If a set exceeds these time allotments, the set will be awarded to the team who did not cause the delay.
Stage Bans
- The lower seeded team must ban one (1) of the listed maps for the set, and the higher seeded team will then ban one (1) of the remaining maps listed for the set.
- The remainder of the maps will be played out in the order initially listed.
Handling Disconnections
- A disconnection replay is granted under both the following conditions:
- The same team has not disconnected before in the ongoing set
- The timer hasn’t passed the 4:00 mark in the game, and if the non-disconnecting team hasn’t pushed the objective passed sixty (60) points. If both the conditions for a disconnection replay is met, the game must be replayed, and the game in which the disconnection occurred will not count. If the conditions are not both met, the set will continue.
- In the case that it is necessary that the disconnecting team needs to substitute a player, both teams may change weapons, gear, or make further substitutions.
- If the host disconnects, a new host must be selected that has not previously been selected for the current round. All disconnection replay conditions, and other rules on time apply.
Official Schedule
- Registration ends thirty (30) minutes before the tournament start time.
- Check-in occurs between fourty-five (45) and fifteen (15) minutes before the tournament start time.
- The tournament starts at 7:00pm ET, unless otherwise stated.
